Tourism and hospitality are expanding global industries resulting in an increased demand for skilled managers to lead and develop international organisations.
This course will give you the expertise to perform at a strategic senior level in these dynamic service industries. By analysing the major influences affecting the international tourism and hospitality business environments, you will gain a deep-rooted understanding of the issues currently shaping the management of the industries' major corporations.
You will gain a comprehensive knowledge of international tourism and tourist destinations, including the supply chain, how to respond effectively to customer demand and the global forces impacting on sustainable tourism.
If you would like to complement your academic studies with substantial practical experience, you could select the sandwich option and undertake an extended work placement. Previous students have secured placements with companies such as Radisson Hotels and Hilton Hotels & Resorts.
With a range of management and marketing modules on offer and coupled with the opportunity to conduct your research project in an area of personal interest, you will be able to tailor your course to your career ambitions.
